No one could guess that this championship would experience worldwide glory. The competition took place on October 30, 2004 and then over 600 internet sites and famous media companies announced that the first WORLD TESTICLE COOKING CHAMPIONSHIP had been held.
Since then, cooks from all over the world - Norway, Finland, Republic of Serpska, Macedonia, Australia, Spain, Austria, Slovenia, the USA, Canada, Hungary have entered the competition.
There's a BallsCup Camp - which is a chance for all the visitors to find out about the aphrodisiac effect of this specialties. Ball'sCup Camp is always formed one day before the start of the competition and it is organized by the teams and competitors themselves.
When it comes to a very unusual name - World Testicle Cooking Championship, one thing is to be clearfied - this highly unique competition has nothing to do with any kind of vulgarity. There's no stripping of clothes, naked bodies showing off, alcohol drinking competitions of any kind. Everything that happens, happens in the spirit of domestic positive atmosphere.
The competition takes place in a beautiful rural environment of Serbia, by the river in the woods. And this is how the authentic way of preparing this dish is preserved. Cooks demonstrate their skill in the natural environment, without the use of any modern appliances and luxurious restaurant atmosphere. Skill and knowledge is only what matters and counts. Being a world champion in this discipline isn't easy to accomplish.
Judging on the experience of the consumers, these specialties are an exceptional aphrodisiac that stimulates sexual energy.
Members of jury are women who are doctors of veterinary medicine. They are eminent experts, qualified to judge these specialties. Colour, taste, smell, combination of spices, the most beautifully organized camp, the hottest dish, the funniest joke... is what counts. Curious visitors rate the most simulative specialty.
The championship is always held on the last weekend of August and lasts for three days. On the first day (Friday) BallsCup Camp is set up by the competitors. Beside this one, there's another camp for the visitors who don't want to participate, but to be part of it by testing the specialties and sharing their experiences or gaining new ones with the cooks. On the following day (Saturday), in the afternoon hours the competition takes place, and the winners are announced. Visitors can enjoy the various music, and rock concert are held late in the evening. Sunday is the day when everybody gathers around a feast prepared by the winning team, thus marking the end of the competition.
World Testicle Cooking Championship is an ideal place for you to have fun, make new friendships, listen to good music, eat healthy food, camp in the peaceful, natural and non-polluted environment, where there's no modern hotels and luxury, no arguments and fights.
This year's member of jury was Anna Wexler from the USA (who had an excellent performance with fire), two journalists from Bulgaria and two doctors of veterinary medicine from Serbia.
Dishes made of 16 sorts of eatable animals' testicles were presented: bull, tug, wild boar, stallion, shark, ostrich, kangaroo, donkey, rooster, turkey, goat, reindeer, elk, buck, deer, and bear.
Competitors were making specialties of vegetables and spices, naturally grown without the use of pesticides. A very important is that there are no chemicals involved in the preparation of the dishes and everything is made in a natural way, as it was done in the distant past.
Traditional Serbian music was being played as well as rock'n'roll. Ljubomir R. Erovic, the creator and organizer, performed a rock concert with his own band - jazz, evergreen, rock'n'roll, hard rock captured the attention of all visitors. Traditional Serbian dishes were being served, handicrafts and Serbian folklore presented, home-made plum-brandy was being drunk... If you decide to be the part of this championship, you will have an opportunity to see and feel the true Serbia and traditional hospitality.
Unfortunately, because of the worldwide economic crises and the danger of swine flu, many teams from Europe and the USA called off their participation. Only two teams from abroad (Australia) showed up and 20 teams from different parts of Serbia actively participated.
The winner of the 6th 'Mudrijada' is a team called 'MZ VERELEC', from Gornji Milanovac - they prepared a dish which was a mixture of bull, tug and wild boar's testicles.
The most original way of preparing the dish was performed by a team called 'LOZA', from Vlasotince, southern Serbia. They tightened testicles to the wires that strengthen a wheel of a bicycle. So the testicles were being grilled on the fire, while the wheel kept wheeling.
Rules :

• The testing of the testicles specialties’ effects is prohibited

• The ``casual`` visit to the ``balling village`` is prohibited

The environment where the contest is
organized includes also:
music, drinks, and promotional activities
for homemade aphrodisiacs and accessories
for a healthy sex life (nuts, honey, whole nuts,
peanuts and special herbs)
The strongest aphrodisiac was made by a team from Pancevo, who combined testicles of a stallion and a tug. The recipe for the dish was taken from Ljubomir R. Erovic's 'THE TESTICLE COOKBOOK'.
All the competitors were given 'THE TESTICLE COOKBOOK' as well as a certificate for participation. The winner was presented with a statue, world champion certificate and 15-day vacation in the mountains in Serbia.
Future plan is to spread the championship onto the restaurants and hotels' competitions, and thus enable all the countries interested in the matter to present their own best specialty.
World Testicle Cooking Championship presents to public not only culinary skilled men, but generally all those who have the courage to show the world a completely new dimension of life and life's values - people like: stuntmen, pilots, doctors, firemen, soldiers, parachutists, climbers as well as the ones who showed their courage by saving others people's lives. All in all, people who have the balls to perform huge and difficult actions.
From now on, an international certificate for the bravest action of the year will be presented on this championship. The Ballsy Man of the year will be chosen.
Ljubomir R. Erovic is interested in organizing the World Testicle Cooking Championship all over the world.
His plan is to open a restaurant with these kinds of specialties in GB or the USA, and a cooking school were the skill for making aphrodisiacs and specialties of the eatable animals' testicles would be taught.
